Thousands of books, starting at $1 — and hundreds of CDs, DVDs and vinyl. Rare books and children’s books are individually priced.
There are 3 ways you can enjoy the sale!
1. OLLI members are invited to volunteer to help sort, set up and/or sell books.
- Join in the fun of staffing OLLI’s popular book sale fundraiser
- Oct. 19-23 — Book Sale Collection Week
- Oct. 26-30 — Book Sale Event Week
- Many volunteer slots & roles available — Collector/Hauler | Sorter | Floater | Checkout/Clerk/Cashier | Breakdown/Cleanup
- Look for all these roles in the CATEGORY TABS at the top of our 2026 Book Sale Volunteer Signup Form!
2. Donate your gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl.
- Start setting aside books to donate—your generosity makes this much-loved fundraiser possible and helps support OLLI.
- Collection dates are Monday – Friday, October 19-23, 8:30 am-2:30 pm, at Arsht Hall, 2700 Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilmington, DE.
- Donating is made easy with drop-off stations on campus. Drive up and drop off!
- Accepting: All genre books in good condition, CDs, DVDs, vinyl
- Not accepting: atlases, encyclopedias, textbooks, manuals, magazines, cassettes, 8-track, VHS, games or puzzles
3. Buy more books!
- Visit the sale to stock up for the winter—October 26-30 between 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day at Arsht Hall.
- Bring a friend – or your entire book club!
- Remember, cash only!
- Note: The book sale benefits University of Delaware Osher Lifelong Learning Institute 501(c)(3) non-profit.
- One reader’s finished book becomes another’s great find!
