Join us for a fun wine tasting session Feb. 13

Join us for wine, dessert & chocolate with your OLLI friends, just in time for Valentine’s Day

The UD and OLLI community, as well as the public, are invited to join us Friday, February 13 to enjoy a fun, one-session wine tasting class at the University of Delaware’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) program for age 50-plus on UD’s Wilmington Campus, 2700 Pennsylvania Ave., Wilmington.

Enjoy delicious food and wine with friends, and learn about wine, chocolate and dessert pairings. Participants will explore a variety of wines together and learn how to identify what they like.

Our instructor Walter Makarucha is a recently retired financial advisor with an interest in wine and winemaking, who aims to make wine accessible and enjoyable for everyone. He is a Level I sommelier, New York Institute of Wine at the World Trade Center; member, Benvenuto Restaurant Wine Club; winemaker, Grape Expectations, Bridgewater N.J.
