Current, past and prospective OLLI members are invited to learn more about classes and activities at the University of Delaware’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) program by attending virtual mini-courses in January.
More than 30 free live-online mini-courses for adults 50 and over will be offered Jan. 13-23. The January Explorations series is presented by OLLI’s volunteer instructors and covers topics in art, nature, history, current events, literature, health and more.
The online series is free and open to the public. OLLI membership is not required.
The January sessions include several wellness-related courses, among them, Physiology of Sleep, Frontiers for Healthy Aging, and MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction).
Delaware topics include Ellen Dupont and Robert Wheelwright and “Goodstay” and Howard Pyle: Life at Green Hill Farm and Beyond.
Environment-related topics include Sustainability Solutions and Climate Change and Delaware.
Other interesting sessions include History of American Whiskey, TED Talks and Trivia, and Literary Anniversary: Agatha Christie — and many more. Click here for a full list of session titles.

The Zoom-based courses are free, but registration is required.
