June a la Carte Morning Lectures

Come enjoy a four-day lecture series at the University of Delaware’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) in Wilmington. OLLI membership is not required to register for June a la Carte.

June a la Carte is open to adults of all ages, OLLI members and nonmembers, so please invite a friend or potential member! Each day’s program features a special cultural theme—attend all four presentations or register for selected days. Thursday tickets are $20 per person; all other tickets are $10 per person for each day’s presentation. Four-day series discounted tickets are available for $40 per person if purchased before June 3. Complimentary refreshments begin at 8:30 a.m. each morning.

  • DNA, Genealogy and Family History — Bob LaRossa, OLLI member and genealogy instructor (9 a.m.)
  • Artifacts, Historical Memory and Shared Experience — Elizabeth Mosier, author of Excavating Memory: Archeology and Home (10:30 a.m.)

THURSDAY, JUNE 13— Exploring Our Local Culture

  • Theatre and Performance — Sanford Robbins, founder and producing artistic director of the Resident Ensemble Players (REP), University of Delaware (9 a.m.)
  • Sharing Desserts, History and Culture — Dana Herbert, award-winning chef of Desserts by Dana  (10:30 a.m.)



OLLI membership is not required to register for June a la Carte. Registration includes daily light refreshments and free parking.
