This is a hybrid course. One section meets on site at the location listed; and one section meets online only.

Learn the history of one of the great music genres, the blues. Where did it originate? How did it spread throughout the south and then the nation? Many recordings of some of the great blues performers. What’s the status of the blues today?

INSTRUCTOR: Glenn Rill

RILL, GLENN — B.S., mathematics and M.S., computer science, University of Maryland. Retired after 40-year career in computer technology. Interests include tennis, golf, guitar, traveling and all types of music.
