First State Heritage Park Tour (SE313)

SE – Special Event

First State Heritage Park is Delaware’s only “urban park without boundaries.” Centering on the historic Dover Green, participants immerse themselves in history through experiences facilitated by historical interpreters, dressed in authentic Revolution-era garb. Tour Legislative Hall, then head outside for the “Women of the Green” walking tour, highlighting the people and places that have defined the historic half-acre of green across more than 300 years of history. Be prepared to walk for about two hours.

BUTLER, MICHELLE — B.S., biochemistry, Rutgers University; M.B.A., IT/finance, Rochester Institute of Technology; M.F.A., photography, Academy of Art University. Semiretired with over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, has volunteered with multiple charities for more than 10 years. Proud travel junkie, both domestically and internationally. (SE313)

BUTLER, RUSSELL — Recently retired engineer at Siemens Healthcare in Newark, Delaware. Enjoys traveling the world with his wife of more than 31 years. Hobbies include gardening, photography, camping, and building and fixing things. (SE313, SE314)
