This course introduces learners to artificial intelligence (AI), with a focus on understanding and using AI-powered tools like ChatGPT. The course combines lectures and hands-on activities, allowing students to engage with AI in a structured learning environment.
Prerequisite: No prior AI experience is necessary, but basic computer skills and access to the ChatGPT app are recommended. Students can choose between the paid version ($20/month) and free version. Students can take the class without a paid subscription.
When registering, sign up for either the section using an OLLI computer, or the section for those bringing their own laptops.

STERLING, ANITA — B.S., M.I.S., Widener University; postgraduate certification, English and business technical writing, University of Delaware. Retired IT administrator and human resources director. Serves on local boards and committees. Interests include fitness, environment and genealogy. (L241, L242)
BRUGH, KAREN — B.S., education, University of Delaware; M.B.A., information technology concentration, Goldey Beacom College. Retired in 2020 after career in technology at MBNA (Bank of America) and Wilmington Trust (M&T Bank). OLLI member since 2021 and a distance viewing committee member, has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels and is a lifelong Girl Scout. Hobbies include spending time with family and friends, gardening, sewing, reading and learning. (L241, L242)
MARTIN JR., LEWIS — Former principal consultant at DuPont Engineering, retired after 40 years. B.S.M.E., University of Delaware. Hobbies are coaching youth and high school soccer, playing competitive tennis, traveling, challenging projects and computers. (L241, L242)
