A survey of 11 neglected, forgotten and/or ignored films fondly remembered by the instructor: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari; And Then There Were None (1945); Out of the Blue; Rashomon; The Night of the Hunter; The Court Jester; The Invasion of the Body Snatchers; A Face in the Crowd; The Shootist; Starman; The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover. Due to the 2-plus-hours running time of each film, class time may extend to 3 p.m.
