HUMOR: FROM IMPROV TO SKETCH COMEDY (CP312)

CP – Performing Arts Participation

This course explores humor through video presentations, improvisation and comedy sketches. This will be a “hands-on” experience, and participants will be involved in all aspects of the class.

INSTRUCTORS: Nancy Meman, Mike Zito, Norm Golden

MEMAN, NANCY — Has always loved getting a laugh, and that’s all you need to know. If you want to know more, come to class!

ZITO, MIKE — Retired teacher of 27 years, having taught on all levels from 4th grade to graduate school. Before teaching, made his living performing with juggling, acting and magic; created an award winning show called “Zeeto the Bubbleman.”

GOLDEN, NORM — Multi-hyphenate artist; actor, director, writer, producer, scenic designer, lighting designer and teacher. Transported his life from New York to of all places, Lewes, Delaware. How he got here remains a mystery to even himself but here he is, ready to work with you. Has appeared in the Law & Order franchise several times, Orange Is the New Black, Gotham, Nova, High Fidelity, and An American Pickle among other films and several national commercials. He has also directed and performed on stage since college.
