This is a course on the basics of how to read stock charts. We will cover trends, support and resistance levels, chart patterns, indicators and oscillators. The goal is to enable you to start on the journey of technical analysis for making investment decisions. Materials for the course will be posted on a class website, https://udel.edu/~diyinvst/.

VAIDYA, RAJEEV — Retired executive from DuPont, has been active in investor education for three decades. He is director of Better Investing’s Philadelphia chapter, leads Delaware programs for the American Association of Individual Investors and authors a newsletter, knowhowtoinvest.com.
MROZ, RACHEL — MBA, finance; Ed.D., education leadership, University of Delaware. Semi-retired after 29 years of financial and operations positions at UD. Professional interests include using data to make informed decisions and understanding market trends for better investing.
