Walking Through Lewes History (G481)

G – History

Lewes (off site) | July 9, 2025-July 30, 2025

Wednesday: 9:00 AM-10:15 AM

Prerequisite: Ability to walk for approximately one mile. We walk through history in Lewes, learning about historic buildings, notable events, architecture and the residents who lived here. We also explore maritime history and the final resting places of some of the residents of Lewes. Expect less than 1.5 miles of walking each week.

INSTRUCTOR: Connie Benko

BENKO, CONNIE — M.T.C., Pennsylvania State University, specializing in gifted education. Has taught preschool, elementary, middle school and adults. Passionate local history buff, serving as a historical tour director for over 15 years. Currently serving as OLLI Kent/Sussex council chair. (G481)
