¡Bienvenidos! Forget phrasebooks and verb conjugations and join us for a culinary and oenological immersion. This course dives into the heart of Spanish culture through its vibrant food and wine. This class is your passport to understanding Spain’s diverse regions, rich traditions and the art of sobremesa (post-meal conversation). This isn’t just a tasting; it’s a cultural experience.

MAKARUCHA, WALTER — Recently retired financial advisor with an interest in wine and winemaking. Level I sommelier, New York Institute of Wine at the World Trade Center; member, Benvenuto Restaurant Wine Club; winemaker, Grape Expectations, Bridgewater N.J. Other interests include motorsports, singing, improv comedy and travel. Aims to make wine accessible and enjoyable for everyone! (F234, F235, F236)
