FOLK GUITAR: BEGINNER II (CP241)

Friday: 9:00 AM-10:15 AM

Prerequisite: Beginner Folk Guitar I or equivalent skills. Continue learning major folk guitar keys, new songs, strumming techniques, ear training, capo use and tablature. Use flat-pick, thumb pick and finger-style strumming. Notebook with music and other materials is provided by instructors for less than $10 to those who did not take the Beginner I class. Instructors may require mask-wearing in this class.

HASTINGS, LYNDA — B.A., sociology and education, University of Delaware. Retired from state of Delaware. Past commander, Wilmington Sail and Power Squadron. Recovering sailor. Has developed new loves for tai chi and for singing, songwriting and playing guitar at OLLI. (CP213, CP241)

MILLER, MARY — B.A., English, with a concentration in journalism, University of Delaware. Retired from a career in banking, which included project management of various technology and compliance/regulatory initiatives. (CP213, CP241, CP287, CP291)
