AGE OF CONFLICT: PRECEDENTS AND PREDICTIONS (G555)

G – History

This course applies the historical methodology set forth in Carroll Quigley’s The Evolution of Civilizations to current events. A legendary professor at the Georgetown School of Foreign Service, Quigley taught President Bill Clinton and Speaker Nancy Pelosi, shaping their worldviews. Quigley identifies seven stages of historical change for all civilizations. Today appears to be an Age of Conflict, and Quigley’s methodology explains the economic, political, social, military and philosophical causes. He predicts the possible authoritarian outcome.
