CERAMICS: ADVANCED OPEN STUDIO (B308)

B – Fine Arts

Prerequisite: Previous experience working with ceramic clay recommended. Additional fee: $40 fee to cover supplies like clay, glaze, paint, etc. and the cost of firing clay projects. This is an open-studio workshop for students with previous experience working with ceramic clay and pottery. Students work independently on projects of their own choosing. No formal instruction is provided, but guidance is available if requested. The OLLI ceramic studio has two pottery wheels, a slab roller and various tools.

ANDREWS, VICTORIA — After retiring from a long career at NASA headquarters in Washington, DC, and moving to Wilmington, Victoria jumped into ceramics courses at OLLI. She’s passionate about ceramics and looks forward to assisting others as they learn more about this fascinating craft.

ERIKSEN, ROLF — M.A., economics, University of Delaware. Senior vice president and economist, Delaware Trust Company; CEO, Beneficial Mortgage Corp.; retired as executive director, Lutheran Senior Services, Inc., Wilmington. Served on boards of several local volunteer organizations. Current chairman, Delaware Health Facilities Authority and member since 1974.
