CP – Performing Arts Participation

Monday: 2:30 PM-3:45 PM
Prerequisite: Vocalists must provide their own microphone. Rock Band provides opportunities for instrumentalists and vocalists to perform rock ‘n’ roll music from the 50s, 60s and 70s and beyond, based on student interest like garage bands, top 40 hits, soul, R&B, blues, southern and progressive rock, Motown and more. Instrument players welcome, including electric or acoustic, lead or rhythm guitarists; bass guitarist; drummers, percussionists; keyboardists; horns; strings; harmonicas among others; as well as vocalists who can sing lead, harmony or backing.

MAH, DENNIE — BSChE (1971), MSChE (1973), Northeastern University. Retired DuPont chemical engineer in fluids and flexibles, textile fibers, petrochemicals, research and development, fuel cells, bioscience, agriculture, engineering and fluorochemicals. Played guitar in high school and college garage bands, rock climbing, SCUBA, travel and photography.
DOSTILLIO, MARY BETH —
DARLING, ROBERT — Drove city bus in Milwaukee for 32 years. Performed in many rock bands. Attended Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Taught guitar for years. Assisted my wife with Children’s Liturgy of the Word classes at St. Matthias in Milwaukee.
MOYER, ROBERT — Semi-retired project engineer/manager in the food and pharma manufacturing and packaging industry. Love time with grandchildren who live nearby. In retirement, enjoying the love of music through playing guitar and singing in bands and at OLLI. Also co-instructor for OLLI Rock Band.
