ASL: CONVERSATIONAL WORKSHOP (O335)

O – Languages

Prerequisite: Knowledge of American Sign Language. Please join us for the opportunity to sign together. As with any language it is important to have actual conversations to expand your receptive skills. We will meet together to have basic conversations together by either pairing up or group conversation. This is not a class with instruction, but independent participation.

INSTRUCTORS: Carol Lovett, Sondra Weidman

LOVETT, CAROL — Licensed clinical social worker and certified addictions counselor. Advocate for families living with dementia. Facilitates several caregiver support groups and has offered workshops that help increase the understanding of dementia. Discovered yoga while caregiving.

WEIDMAN, SONDRA — Moved back to Delaware in 2018, retiring to her childhood home. Enjoys gardening, hiking, healthy cooking, serving the community in various ways and watching movies based on true-life stories. Please join her for (Based on) True Story Movies and/or American Sign Language (ASL).
