This is a hybrid course. One section meets on site at the location listed; and one section meets online only.

Between late 1938 and the outbreak of war in 1939, about 10,000 Jewish children between the ages of five and 15 were able to escape Nazi-controlled Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia to Britain via the Kindertransport. The children, minus their parents, were allowed to enter Britain under a limited visa waiver program sponsored and supported by the British Jewish community and various charitable groups. Most of the children would never see their parents again.
