This course offers an immersive exploration of contemporary cinema through the lens of five visionary women who have redefined the boundaries of modern story telling. The films of Kathryn Bigelow, Chloe Zhao, Jane Campion, Sarah Polley and Greta Gerwig will be featured.

KLUGERMAN, SUSAN — Student of film history, movie lover, world traveler and chef. Believes movies are reflections of our culture and windows into others. Examination and critique of films can enhance our viewing enjoyment and enrich our experience.
