This 13-week acting course introduces students to the core principles of theatrical performance, emphasizing The Actor’s Process: the series of repeatable, actionable steps actors use to prepare for and embody a role. Through physical and vocal training, script analysis, imaginative exploration, and partnered scene work, students develop essential skills in physicality, vocal production, emotional truth, text interpretation and character development. The course combines practical exercises, reflective discussion, and performance opportunities to help actors build confidence, clarity, and presence on stage.
