A look at the history of aviation within the state of Delaware and its impact on the overall development of aviation within the United States. It reflects how business leaders and DuPont family members supported aviation development, while state officials were reluctant to fund any development of civil aviation until 1971 when the state funded the Delaware Aeronautics Administrator position within the Department of Transportation.

WHEEL, CRAIG — More than 50 years of aviation experience in both fixed and rotary winged aircraft encompassing civil, military and corporate aviation, including functioning as an FAA designated pilot examiner and training center evaluator.
