Survey course of American poetry 1945-2025. Poets and their representative work will be discussed. There will be a 5-minute “write” after the midpoint of each session, in which students will write for 5 minutes. After that they may share their writings with the class, or we may continue the discussions of the poets.

LINZ, PHIL — Writing poetry since 1971 and is the founder and publisher of Fierce Grace Press, specializing in chapbooks. Two published books: The Chapbooks: Collected Poems (2019), and How It Was, How It Is, New & Selected Poems (2026) are available on Amazon.
