Ever wanted to try and paint? This course is for anyone new to acrylic painting with no previous experience. Focus on fundamental approaches to hands-on beginner painting, supplies, brush strokes, use of color theory, composition and instruction. Each week, try your hand at painting and learn techniques applicable to acrylic paint. If you have previously painted in acrylic, please consider Acrylic Techniques or Intermediate Acrylic classes.

CROSWELL, RICK — B.A. University of Maryland. Retired from financial services sector. Longtime interest in music and fine arts. Tried painting at OLLI, got hooked, and ready to share experience with others.
