Prerequisite: At least one full year of French language. Required text: Le Nouveau Taxi ! 2, Robert Menand, ISBN 978-2-01-155551-9; Cahier d’exercices: Le Nouveau Taxi ! 2, Laure Hutchings and Nathalie Hirschsprung, ISBN 978-2-01-155552-6 The goal of this class is to improve French comprehension and conversation in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that encourages student participation. Each thematic unit focuses on specific communication goals and sociocultural awareness. Brief grammar refreshers provide opportunities for student interaction and pronunciation practice. The corresponding Cahier d’exercices helps develop writing skills for effective communication. The class format is a facilitated collaborative learning experience.
