Over two thousand miles separate the Republic of Georgia from Germany, but it’s easy to take a tour in a single afternoon with additional stops in Hungary and Austria – simply by sampling the distinctive wines from each country. Regional food pairings accompany each selection.
There will be a $20 materials fee to cover the cost of wine and food pairings.

MAKARUCHA, WALTER — Recently retired financial advisor with an interest in wine and winemaking. Level I sommelier, New York Institute of Wine at the World Trade Center; member, Benvenuto Restaurant Wine Club; winemaker, Grape Expectations, Bridgewater, N.J. Other interests include motorsports, singing, improv comedy and travel. Aims to make wine accessible and enjoyable for everyone! (SE336, SE338)
