Want to improve your chances of finding sea glass on Delaware beaches? It’s out there! In this talk, I’ll share 28 stratagems to help you not go home empty-handed. We will take a follow-up 90-minute field trip to an undisclosed beach location to put what we’ve learned to good use: finding sea glass!

This is a 1-session class being offered at two UD OLLI locations:

  • Register for either the section meeting in Lewes (Monday 10/12) or in Dover (Tuesday 10/13).
  • Field trip for all sections: tentatively scheduled for Wednesday 10/14/2026.

INSTRUCTOR: David Liemer

LIEMER, DAVID — Has exhibited and lectured at the Mid-Atlantic Sea Glass Festival. When not out scouring beaches up and down Delaware for sea glass, David is busy pursuing his other passion in retirement as president of Lewes Unleashed Dog Park, a stone’s throw from the OLLI campus.
